Hundreds satisfied their sweet tooth this Valentine's Day, they gathered at the Macon City Auditorium for "Death by Chocolate," put on by the Tubman Museum.
With live music, food, and of course, a ton of chocolate, couples enjoyed the Valentine's Day event.
Buffets lined the walls with a big selection of food items for people to choose from, ranging from dinner entrées to chocolate mousse.
The proceeds of the event will help benefit the Pan-African Festival in April.
Executive director of the Tubman Museum, Andy Ambrose, says the support from the community makes the event a success.
"One thing that is always wonderful is to see everybody coming together all dressed up in their Valentine's finery to have a great time but I think the other thing that was so exciting was just seeing people really getting into the auction and silent auction, just really getting behind the Tubman and the events we put on," says Ambrose.
The Tubman Museum sold over 500 tickets to the event.
the Pan African Festival will be on April 24th and 25th .
