A small plane made a emergency landing in Baldwin County on the 441 Bypass between Highway 49 and Allen Memorial Drive.

Baldwin County's Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Brandon Barth said the plane landed around 5 p.m.

The plane's pilot, Charles Lutin, says he was traveling from Warner Robins to Raleigh, North Carolina when he lost engine power.

Lutin says his plane is a 2 passenger Glasair 2.

He says he was guided to land by Atlanta Approach.

Barth says firefighters had to work to contain a fuel leak.

The Baldwin County Fire Dept. says it believes the fuel tank ruptured during the landing.

No injuries were reported.
