A Byron man was in critical condition Thursday after a double shooting that Warner Robins police say may be drug related.

Police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh says the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night in a home under construction at 104 Berkley Circle. That's between Gunn Road and Watson Boulevard.

A police news release says Christopher Wilkinson of Warner Robins and Desair Morris of Byron, both 23 years old, were shot inside the home.

Police believe they were shot by a third person that they met at the home. They describe him as a man in his 20s driving a dark pickup truck.

Morris was shot multiple times and is in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, police say.

Police believe Wilkinson was shot once. He is in stable condition at Grady Hospital in Atlanta.

Pugh says police are investigating the case as a drug-related shooting. She said police have some leads in the case.

Anyone with information on the case can call Warner Robins police at (478) 929-6906.
