Craigslist wedding rings ad turns into armed robbery

The Bibb Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened this afternoon. According to a press release, a man from Atlanta was meeting two men near the intersection of Rocky Creek Road and Pio Nono Avenue to look at wedding rings advertised on Craigslist.

The man claimed the rings were not the same as the ones in the ad, and the seller revealed a handgun and asked the man for money. No one was injured.

Police are looking for two males with shoulder length dreads in their mid to late 20s, both standing around 5' 11". They fled the scene in a silver 1980s Toyota Camry with damage on the driver's side.
