NORCROSS, Ga. -- Gwinnett police are still hunting for some of the men involved in a terrifying home invasion during which two young children were tied up at gunpoint.

11Alive has obtained the frantic 911 call from on the of occupants of that home on Williamsburg Lane in Norcross.

Police think there are three men still at-large but two were arrested on the scene and they think one of them, Lamar Bowman, is the one who fired shots at officers and missed.

The 911 call came in from Alicia Madrigal who locked herself in the bathroom when the gunmen burst in through her front door.

He niece and nephew were tied up by the gunmen in their bedrooms with a rope.

The gunmen pistol whipped her husband and brother-in-law in a different bedroom saying they wanted money.

The 911 operator gets a translator on the on the line who then explains what happened as the caller speaks frantically into the phone..

“Some guys came inside my house with weapons, please come quickly they are going to kill me,” the translator explains to the operator. “Some males with masks on. I have locked myself inside the bathroom.”

When police arrived, the robbers took off running without the money and TV they were trying to take.

The 11-year-old boy and his 5-year-old sister were not harmed and told me the family doesn’t know who the gunmen were.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Gwinnett police.
