'Grandpa' robbers hold up Ga. jeweler

In one instance, two men were disguised as elderly men.

BROOKHAVEN, GA - Brookhaven police released surveillance photos on Wednesday of two men who disguised themselves as elderly men before robbing a jewelry store.

On Tuesday, the men walked into Ermitage Jewelry on 1442 Dresden Drive and robbed it.

The photos show one of the men wearing a white baseball cap, blue jacket, dark sunglasses, dark color pants and black shoes. The other suspect was wearing a dark color jacket, light blue button-up shirt, sunglasses, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. Police said the second suspect was also carrying a black revolver.

Police told 11Alive News that when the men entered store around 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, they pepper-sprayed employees and then escaped with multiple jewelry.

No estimate of the value of the jewelry was available.

The suspects escaped in a car. No description of the car was available.
