Parents of baby injured in drug raid to meet with GBI

HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. -- Dozens of people rallied outside the Habersham County courthouse this weekend to stop no knock warrants, after a toddler was injured during a drug raid.

The parents of 19 month old Bou Phonesavanh now plan to meet with the GBI Tuesday, after originally saying that meeting would be Monday.

The baby was critically injured when a police flash grenade exploded in his playpen late last month.

Governor Nathan Deal has said he's open to discussing whether legislative changes are necessary regarding "no-knock" warrants. But first he wants to see the results of the investigation in this case.
