Back to school season means it's time for another year of 13WMAZ's "My Teacher Is Tops" program.
If your child's teacher has made a difference to them and you think they should be awarded, junior journalist Jordan Thomas is here to tell you the do's and don'ts.
All your child has to do is handwrite a one page letter saying why their teacher is important to them, and include their name, the teacher's name, and the school, and mail it to:

If your teacher is a winner, the junior journalist will surprise the teacher at their school and present them with an award. But don't worry if your entry isn't chosen right away, winners are picked year round and 13WMAZ will save the letters you send.
