MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) -- A group of Georgia parents and educators plans to open a school this fall that would serve elementary and middle school-aged children who have dyslexia.
The Marietta Daily Journal reports that plans call for Gracepoint School to be a private, nonprofit organization in Cobb County.
Gracepoint School board member Angie Strack explained the plans to about 50 parents and teachers during a recent meeting.
Organizers are planning another informational meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 at StoneBridge Church in Marietta.
The group is planning to open the school in the fall.
