The Bibb county school district is looking for teachers. It's holding a recruitment fair Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Central High school.
The district's coordinator of talent acquisition Shannon Dotsikas says historically, there've been 350 openings a year and that's what she's expecting for 2013-2014.
"We are always in need of high school math, high school science, foreign language teachers, and SPED teachers," said Dotsikas. "However with 27 elementary schools we are always in need of elementary teachers."
She says this year, Bibb county will start interviewing candidates at the job fair. Attendees are asked to dress professionally and bring 30 copies of a resume.
