Bibb County's board of elections says 2 percent of Macon's voters cast their votes for write-in mayoral candidate David Cousino.
Election supervisor Elaine Carr on Wednesday released Cousino's final write-in count: 214 votes.
That's compared to 10,038 votes for Mayor Robert Reichert, who got on the ballot by winning a July primary and an August runoff.
Cousino, a Republican, declined to qualify for the Republican ballot in April, saying he couldn't pay the fee.
Instead, he registered as a write-in candidate, the only official opposition to Reichert in Tuesday's election.
Cousino's support dropped by half since he ran as a Republican candidate for mayor in 2007. Cousino won 4 percent of the vote in the November final that year, Reichert 96 percent.
Carr says 387 people wrote in various people and animated creatures for the 2011 mayor's race. They include former mayor C. Jack Ellis and two regular vote-getters, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
Only Cousino's votes were tabulated because he's a registered candidate. His votes will be included in the vote totals forwarded to the Secretary of State's office.
