DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - A woman charged in the slaying of her husband outside a suburban Atlanta preschool has withdrawn her request for permission to visit his grave.

A lawyer for Andrea Sneiderman said Friday that media coverage of the visit would have created a "madhouse" at the gravesite.

Sneiderman had been seeking permission to observe Yahrtzeit on Sunday, the second anniversary of her husband's death. The Jewish religious tradition involves reciting a prayer and the lighting of a 24-hour candle.

Sneiderman has been under house arrest since she was arrested in August and accused of conspiring with her former boss, Hemy Neuman, to kill her husband. She has pleaded not guilty to charges including malice murder and criminal attempt to commit murder.

Neuman was convicted and sentenced in March to life in prison.
