ATLANTA (AP) - The newest member of Congress from Georgia has opened his offices in Washington and Gainesville.
Republican Rep. Doug Collins says his staffers will spread out from their local Gainesville office and hold office hours across the 21-county district in North Georgia.
In a statement, Collins says the roving staffers can meet constituents in their local areas without the expense of setting up additional offices.
Collins was previously a state lawmaker and floor leader for Gov. Nathan Deal.
