ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - U.S. Sens. Mark Warner and Saxby Chambliss plan to speak about their views on leadership and public service at the University of Georgia.
Warner, a Virginia Democrat, is set to deliver the Mason Public Leadership Lecture on Jan. 28 as part of the Terry Leadership Speaker Series. Chambliss, a Georgia Republican, will introduce Warner. Both men plan to participate in a question and answer session following the lecture.
The lecture is supported by a grant from Keith Mason, a lawyer and alumnus of UGA's Terry College of Business. It features prominent business leaders who have contributed significantly to their communities or spent time in a public service role.
Warner and Chambliss are original members of a bipartisan group of senators working to solve the country's debt problems.
