CUMMING, Ga. (AP) - Police in Forsyth County have filed charges against a 17-year-old boy in a crash that killed a 43-year-old woman.
Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Michael Nelson says the teen has been charged with vehicular homicide and failure to obey a traffic control device.
Authorities say 43-year-old Lesia Elaine Bennett, also of Cumming, was killed in a crash last week on Georgia Highway 9 near North Old Atlanta Road.
The teen is being held in the Forsyth County Adult Detention Center on $2,805 bond. The Associated Press typically does not identify juvenile crime suspects.
