3.2 earthquake shakes Georgia city

Verify: Is Ga. an unusual spot for earthquakes?

A 3.2 earthquake hit four miles southwest of Augusta at about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The USGS said the quake was 14.9 kilometers deep and felt as far away as Aiken, S.C., and Dearing, Ga.
