A Cold Rain Across Central Georgia

Temperatures holding steady in the low 40s

It will be a cold rain across Central Georgia today. We can't rule out a little bit of sleet mixed in with the rain, but not expecting any problems. Temperatures will hold steady in the low 40s, and temperatures are not expected to drop below freezing tonight. Different story in Metro Atlanta and parts of North Georgia where snow and cold temperatures could result in some travel issues today and tomorrow morning.

Sunshine returns this weekend with temperatures remaining well below average. Highs in the upper 40s and lows in the upper 20s.
