Macon business plans to donate a meal for every shirt sold

A Macon downtown store called Ambitious Graphics plans to donate a meal for every shirt they sell.

The store -- located at 584 Poplar St. -- is partnering with Middle Georgia Food Bank to help out the homeless and families in need.

"I have a soft spot for homeless people and giving to the homeless, so I feel like partnering with them would be the best way to help more people than me just doing it on my own," said co-owner Wayne Woodard.

The co-owners say they started the business because they could not find reliable print sources.

Woodard says they started selling shirts last year from home and through Facebook to churches, businesses, and non-profit organizations.

The average shirt costs $15, but the price varies for custom tees, and orders can be placed in bulk.
