Warner Robins police have arrested a man suspected of shooting another man last week.

A police news release says 22-year-old Ken Solomon is charged with aggravated assault in the Jan. 25. shooting on Wendan Way.

The release says Solomon was taken into custody Tuesday by the U.S. Marshal Southeast Region Fugitive Task Force at 406 Russell Parkway.

He is also charged wit possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.

Last week, police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh says it happened around 12:30 p.m. last Wednesday on the 200 block of Wendan Way. That's near Green Street and North Davis Drive.

They found 22-year-old LaCourtney Chester in the street with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim, LaCourtney Chester was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia, for surgery.

On the scene, Police Chief Brett Evans says the man was shot on the street in front of 219 Wendan Way.
