The Macon Housing Authority showed their appreciation for their volunteer desk monitors with a luncheon at the McAfee Towers Community Center.
Members of the authority honored 26 volunteers at the Monday luncheon that showcased seniors who give back to their fellow neighbors and the Macon Housing Authority.
Entertainment included the McAfee Towers Explosion Band, made up of musicians who live there.
Community Services Coordinator Trysha Stephens says the seniors show that it's never too late to give back through volunteering.
Stephens says the seniors volunteer their time every day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
