Macon City Council passed a resolution authorizing the mayor to take the next steps in the Second Street project.
Macon Mayor Robert Reichert says CHA Consulting, LLC agreed to complete the project for nearly $500 thousand.
Reichert says that pricing expired Tuesday.
Because council passed the resolution, they can take the next steps on the project.
Council tabled the discussion at a called meeting on Monday.
Mayor Reichert said Monday he was not aware of any reason why council tabled the discussion.
