Macon police are investigating a reported armed robbery at a barber shop early Monday morning.
According to a police report, Shelton Edwards told police that four men forced their way into his barber shop at 781 Smith St. around 4:15 a.m. and pulled a gun on him.
Shelton reported that the men took his cell phone and $80 in cash, then fired a shot as he ran away.
There are no suspects in the case.
The police report does not say why Edwards was in the barber shop at 4 a.m. and he could not be reached for comment.
