Dr. C on Handicaps

Several years ago, Dr. C lost his voice. It wasn't good for a man who makes his living by speaking and giving seminars. He thought he wouldn't be able to work.

"I felt handicapped," Dr. C said.

But then he remembered all the folks with real handicaps who perform their jobs even better than non-handicapped folks. These folks have a lifetime of adjustment to manage.

"That made me realize, leaders should hire the handicapped!" said Dr. C. "They work harder and produce more."
