Five men, armed with handguns, kidnapped Lynn Borelli and her 5-year-old Thursday afternoon.
The suspects fled in two vehicles, according to a Macon Police press release, but Borelli and her son were rescued soon thereafter.
Officers located the mother and child at Tara Apartments at 4151 Log Cabin Drive.
Two suspects were arrested at the scene.
Brandon McDowell, 23, and Jacoby McDowell, 21, have been charged with Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault. The two suspects are brothers.
Jacoby McDowell was also charged with a State Court Probation Violation.
No motive or other information has been made available at this time. The other suspects remain at-large.
Officers from Precincts 2 and 4 worked with the Macon SWAT Team and members of the Southeast Region Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF) to rescue Borelli and her son.
