Georgia's Teacher of the Year no longer works for Bibb County Schools. In a news release, the Board of Education indicated that Jadun McCarthy has turned in his resignation. The board did not give a reason for the resignation.
The board also approved the hiring of three elementary-school principals, two middle-school principals and two high-school principals
