A Wisconsin student is spending his summer biking across the country for a special reason.
13WMAZ met up with Matt Stoltz in Pulaski County at Tom and Sandy's Restaurant, where he made a pit-stop.
"I decided to have my mid-life crisis. I decided to bike 1,700 miles from central Wisconsin to West Palm Beach, Florida," said Stoltz.
But it's about more than just the ride. Stoltz wanted to raise money and awareness for the International Alliance for Youth Sports "One World One Team" Campaign.
Money donated for the ride will give sports equipment to children everywhere from Mexico to Ghana.
The folks at Tom and Sandy's restaurant were so impressed with Stoltz' efforts, they fed him a southern lunch on the house.
