Macon Police are investigating an early morning shooting.
According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, 23-year-old Antron Williams was shot in the at a Birch Avenue address just after three this morning.
Jones says he found Williams lying on the steps on a home across the street from the old A.L. Miller High School. The coroner pronounced him dead around 3:30 a.m.
When 13WMAZ asked the Macon police officers on the scene for a comment or statement, they declined and said a press release would be sent out later this morning.
