Police are looking for a man who snatched money from two cash registers in Macon.
According to police spokeswoman Jamie Gaudet, the man asked a cashier at Zaxby's, located on Riverside drive, to give him change for a $100 bill. That's when he reached into the register, grabbed the money and fled the scene.
Gaudet says the suspect also went to a Marathon gas station on Spring Street, pretending to buy a lottery ticket. He then confused the cashier during the transaction and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are searching for a black man in his late 40s, last seen in a red Toyota Camry. He appears to be cross-eyed, according to the press release. The photo is attached.
