A Warner Robins High School teacher is the system's 2012-2013 Teacher of the Year.
A news release from the Houston County Board of Education says Larry Wadsworth received the system's top honor.
He was chosen as top of the class from among 38 of his colleagues system-wide.
Wadsworth was recognized at the system's opening session on July 25 at the Perry National Fairgrounds.
He received donated gifts from area business, including a new Honda Accord, which is his to drive for a year.
