A Houston County man died early Thursday morning after an accident involving a 4-wheeler.
According to Houston County coroner Danny Galpin, 23 year old Willis Varner and a friend were riding the ATVs on Highway 247 near Kovac Road.
Galpin said it's not clear exactly how, but both Varner and his friend crashed just before 3 a.m.
Varner had a severe head injury and died at the scene.
Galpin said he does not suspect alcohol to be involved in the accident.
