The Museum of Aviation are in need of volunteers to staff their facility.
"We have four buildings here and the buildings have to be manned by volunteers," Dan Hart said.
Volunteer Coordinator, Dan Hart says they are looking for volunteers who could help assist and greet guest, work security and help in restoration.
"You don't have to have any air force experience or any military experience to volunteer in the buildings," Hart said.
He says they currently have about 100 volunteers who are staffed throughout the week.
Hart says the museum is opened 7 days a week, and they are in strong need for help on the weekends.
Volunteers work a 4 hour shift during the mornings or afternoons.
Charlie Cather has been volunteering for the museum for three an a half years.
"I always said when I retired I was going to come volunteer here," Cather said.
The retired Air Force veteran has racked up more than 1,600 hours at the museum.
Cather says he enjoys seeing people come to the museum from all over the world.
He wants people to remember when they are trying to make up their minds on whether or not to volunteer.
"You don't have to know anything about airplanes. You don't have to know anything about Air Force hsitory. All you got to be able to do is smile, greet people and say if you have questions I will try to help you," Cather said.
