For hunters in Georgia, it's one of the biggest days of the year.
Saturday at 30 minutes before sunrise will begin the legal time for the beginning of firearm hunting season for deer.
The season has already been going on for primitive weapons including bow hunting, but Saturday is the first day guns can be used.

Leon Agnew at Bass Pro Shops in Macon says it should be a successful season for hunters. "We have an excellent deer population in the state of Georgia. The state game laws have a very liberal bag limit, two bucks, ten does per person per season."
Shoppers at Bass Pro were stocking up on last-minute ammo, camo, and other gear to prepare for the big day.
Many young hunters begin as early as 9 or younger, learning the ropes from their parents. We also spoke with one hunter who plans on bringing his two year old with him so he can get used to the woods.
In order to hunt in Georgia, you also need a hunting license, which can be obtained either online or in person at many sporting goods stores.
