Mary Persons High School is mourning a ninth-grader who died this weekend in an ATV accident.

15-year-old Daley Cochran died Saturday in Lamar County, according to Ray Beck of the Monroe County Memorial Chapel.

The chapel says her funeral is set for 4 p.m. Wednesday at Forsyth's Second Baptist Church.

No further details are available on the accident. Lamar Sheriff Larry Waller declined comment and the county coroner did not return our phone calls.
