National Pancake day 2013 is in the books.
The annual event drew crowds to IHOP locations around the country, including the one on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd in Macon.
"Some lady happened to not touch her pancakes, and she gave them to me so I had 6 pancakes for free and I was pretty stuffed," said Skylar Johnson of Macon.
The restaurant served up short stacks of pancakes for free, and asked customers to donate to selected charities.
"This is just for a good cause for children," said Jada Johnson, "plus we get free pancakes."
In Macon, the proceeds go to the Children's Hospital.
The company said it's raised more than $10,000 since the event started in 2006.
