The finger-pointing over the forced budget cuts that take effect at midnight Friday is well underway in Washington.
President Obama met with top Congressional leaders at the White House Friday morning.
After the meeting, the president spoke at a press conference, using no uncertain terms.
The cuts add up to $85 billion across federal agencies, among them, the Department of Defense.
