Baldwin State Prison inmates get creative with hiding contraband

Two cellphones were found Thursday at Baldwin State Prison, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Sure, you might think it’s a relatively normal occurrence to catch inmates with a cellphone.

But no. This probably isn’t what you were expecting.

One of the phones was found inside a cheese puff phone case… that was stashed inside a bag of cheese puffs.

The other? Tucked inside a hollowed out flip-flop.

GDC says even though the offenders are thinking of new ways to hide contraband, they remain diligent in removing all items that pose a threat to the security of the prisons.
