Bibb deputies looking for man who allegedly fired shots during argument

Bibb County deputies are looking for the man who they believe shot his girlfriend's stepdad during an argument.

According to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, it happened on McKenzie Drive in Macon around 4 p.m. Saturday.

The release says Marquez Tuff got into an argument with his girlfriend's stepdad, Darrin Lewis, about vehicle repairs that Tuff had paid for but was not satisfied with.

During the argument, police say 27-year-old Tuff pulled out a gun and shot Lewis in the leg, before running away.

Lewis was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Police say Tuff is about 6 feet tall and 195 pounds.

Anyone with information on Tuff's whereabouts is asked to call Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500.
