Daybreak says they've raised over $86,000 for Macon's homeless population from their fourth annual "Sleepout" fundraiser.
Back in February, dozens camped out in downtown Macon to support the cause.
Sister Katie Norris with Daybreak says this was their largest campout.
According to Norris, the day shelter runs on about a $400,000 budget a year to provide with food, shelter, and more.
"When we started 4 years ago, we raised about $40,000, so we've more than doubled what we've been able to raise, and that's thanks to the generosity of the people of Macon, both the sleepers as well as our donors," said Norris.
Although the annual Sleepout has passed, you can still donate to the cause anytime by visiting their website.
