Dublin has not renewed high school principal's contract, students protesting

Dublin City Schools has not renewed the contract of high school principal Tyrone Kellogg.

That's according to Dublin schools spokesman Jason Holcomb.

At a recent school board meeting, names were read of principals whose contracts were being renewed, Holcomb said.

Kellogg's name was not on that list. He's been principal at the school for two years.

Students are voicing their opposition to Kellogg's ouster. They've started using the hashtag #keepkellogg on Facebook and Twitter.

A  Facebook page called #keepkellogg was created and currently has more than 200 members.
