First Contour Airline jet lands in Macon

Contour Airlines started its service out of the Middle Georgia Regional Airport in Macon on Thursday.

After months of hype, the first Contour Airline jet landed at Middle Georgia Regional Airport on Wednesday.

This Embraer 135 is one of two jets that flies to and from DC (BWI) twice a day Monday - Friday and once on Saturdays and Sunday.

Ticket sales are already taking off.

A representative from the airline said that plane capacity is at 95 percent for all flights until December.
