About 30 students from the Georgia Academy for the Blind gave the gift of song to family and friends Thursday.
They performed their winter program at Vineville Baptist Church.
The school has put a focus on the event for decades.
Catherine Holloway, the Music Director at the Georgia Academy for the Blind, says the students practiced twice a week for a few months.
She says she's not only proud of their performance, but appreciates how music has impacted the life of each student.
"My students live and breathe music," says Holloway. "Many of them, in order to get them to calm down or to behave better, many of them concentrate on music as that goal to make them feel better and calm themselves and transition."
Holloway says this was a good way to celebrate the end of the semester.
