Christmas is only 29 days away, and for many people, a Christmas Tree is on the shopping list this weekend.
Hundreds of Christmas trees fill the Macon State Farmer's Market.
The trees are sold through Slaughter's Christmas Trees, a family business that has been around for over 50 years.
After decades in the Christmas tree business, the family knows the tricks to keep your tree thriving through the holiday.
Brody Slaughter says using warm water is an important trick, considering the trees sell out quickly every year.
"Just keep em' watered; the first time you water them, put hot water in there, and it'll open up the pores and it'll drink more water and stay alive longer," said Slaughter.
The market will stick around until the last tree sells out, and prices range from about 65 dollars to 165 dollars.
