Long-time Museum of Aviation supporter dies

Col. Bob Dubiel, a USAF retiree, has passed away at the age of 74.

Dubiel was retired from the Museum of Aviation, but still helped put on the Wings & Wheels Car Show. Dubiel helped create and develop the car show and had been doing the show for about two decades.

Tyler Bryant, from PR & Marketing at the Museum of Aviation, called Dubiel the voice of the museum for all the years that he worked there. He says you can still hear his recorded announcements explaining when the museum is opening and closing.

The car show is tomorrow at the Museum of Aviation. Dubiel will be honored at the museum and the area where his car would normally be on display will be roped off.
