A Macon man is out on bond after he broke a vase and reportedly tried to kill his father.
A Bibb County incident report says a deputy was sent to a home in the 600-block of Willow Creek Dr. for a person cut call on Monday around 3:40 p.m.
The deputy got to the scene and saw a man standing outside with a paper towel wrapped around his arm.
The victim told the deputy there was a long history of physical violence at the home and that the deputy needed to be careful because his son, 30-year-old Colin Wolff, is violent.
The victim said his wife had just served him with papers and he asked Wolff to leave the home. Instead, he became ‘irate’ and threw a vase at the wall, shattering it.
When the victim tried to calm his son down, his son picked up the pieces off the floor and repeatedly said he would kill his father.
The report notes the victim bit his son to prevent his neck from getting sliced. Wolff then cut his father’s arm.
A neighbor told the deputy she came home and saw Wolff’s father running outside for help.
Wolff was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault.
