Macon man charged in fatal Halloween night shooting

Bibb County deputies had a busy night Wednesday. Three people were shot to death and one was wounded at three different crime scenes.

A man is behind bars and charged with murder after a fatal shooting at a party that happened on Halloween night.

According to a Bibb Sheriff's Office news release, Trayvion Burney was arrested around 4 p.m. Saturday at a home on Vacation Drive in Macon.

He is charged with murder, aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, and a probation violation.

The shooting happened on Halloween night around 9 p.m. at a party on Dennis Street after a fight broke out.

Two men were then shot: Jackie Rouse and Quincey Emory. Rouse died at the scene.
