Macon woman accused of assault locks herself in bathroom to avoid deputies

A Macon woman is in jail after she allegedly hit and bit another a woman.

An incident report from the Bibb Sheriff’s Office says deputies were sent to the Raintree Apts on Graham Road around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

When they arrived at the apartments, they were told a woman – 18-year-old Angel Ford – assaulted her neighbor.

The victim had several bruises on her face, as well as a bite mark.

The report says deputies found that Ford ran away when they arrived and she had locked herself in the bathroom.

They were able to convince her to leave the bathroom, but said she ‘displayed irate behavior.’

Ford was taken to jail and charged with two counts of battery, probation violation, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, and disorderly conduct.

Her bond is set at $5,205.
