Clerk robbed during deposit on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd

The Bibb Sheriff's Department says a store clerk was robbed Sunday morning. It happened at 10:15 during a deposit outside at Wells Fargo Bank on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd.

A news release says the clerk was pepper-sprayed by the suspect who took the deposit bag and ran away.

The clerk was taken to the hospital to have the pepper spray cleaned off.

Deputies describe the suspect as 5'11" to 6' tall, a slender build and wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and black mask. They don't know the suspect's sex at this time.
