Macon Army Reserve Unit Returns from Iraq Saturday

A Macon-based Army Reserve unit returns from 10 months in Iraq this weekend.

The 352nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion is scheduled to arrive at the Macon Army Reserve Center on Riverside Drive around 3 p.m. Saturday.

About 60 soldiers will come home, according to a news release.

The unit shipped out in January for an assignment handling shipping and logistics as the United States reduces its forces in Iraq.

The unit also deployed in 2006 for 545 days in Iraq.
