Macon's Carrie Preston and family headline Sept. 30 Theatre Macon benefit

Actress Carrie Preston, a Macon native, comes home this month for a benefit to support Theatre Macon.
 
The Sept. 30 event will be a family affair.
 
It will also feature Preston's husband Michael Emerson, best known for his TV roles in "Lost" and "Person of Interest," her brother, John Preston and his wife, Elisabeth Preston.
 
All four will take part in the reading that will support Theatre Macon's endowment campaign.
 
General admission tickets are $50; VIP tickets, $100.
 
Carrie Preston was born and raised in Macon and got her start in local theater.
 
She is best-known for roles in series like "The Good Wife," "Person of Interest" and "True Blood."
