Man arrested for burglarizing Macon home

A man is in jail after he allegedly burglarized a home Sunday morning.

A release from the Bibb Sheriff’s Office says patrol deputies responded to a burglary in the 1400-block of Waverland Drive around 5 a.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, they found the doors to the house and the Chevy Trailblazer on the driveway had been opened.

Deputies searched the area and found 44-year-old Daniel Clayton Hobbs hiding in the woods.

He was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with burglary.
